Here are links to creative challenges and resources. I will add to them as and when I find suitable material. If anyone else knows of something that would fit in here please let me know.

Other ways to challenge yourself:the 7 day magazine collage challenge (started in the Cloth Paper Studio Yahoo group):make a collage on 7 consecutive days or as many as you like on as many days as you like. The only “rules” are that you should only take images from one magazine (ones on home decor or high fashion magazines are a good source), and use scissors or glue. They can be whatever size you like.

For Monday how about “toss it away day”. You must give away or trash something that no longer serves a purpose. But first, start a Reflectic:
1) write down what it was for, who gave it to you, and any joy that attended its use, etc.
2) make it permantly gone — no ‘Indian Giving’
3) several weeks from now, make a list of how you could have used it or why you miss it
4) write a short essay or poem on the CHANGE of perspective, focusing on how an old belief or habit must be tossed in order to make room for a new one, and how regrets can foster innovation (be healthy).

Carol you ought to be banned or beatified (depending on the time available to work through some of them!) for producing something as wonderful as this!!! Just scrolling down has my heart racing at all the possibilities…. By the way why don’t you add links to all those many sites that you have found…you really do have the sleuther’s ability to seek out and find!!!
Carol, thank you for making these sites available. I never knew how much there is out there. I don’t know where to begin. I don’t know where I’ll find the time. (Is there a link for Inspire Me Thursday? I don’t see it. )

I have started to add links to other sites – look under “inspirational links” on the right hand side of the page
Great resource, Carol
For those who like fiber art, http://www.quiltart.com offers a lot of challenge ideas.
That’s a great idea to set up the creative resources as a page to visit and not just put it in links. I love the way you have organised your space here, it feels like a wonderful writers notebook (:
