Here is a selection of photos taken over the last few weeks:
bouquets of flowers for sale in the market in Trier, Germany
also in Trier, this beautiful recycled wooden chair
and the wrought ironwork sign for the museum of toys (I still haven’t visited this!)
in Arlon, Belgium, one of the stalls at my favourite flea market. I thought its display was really artistic
I definitely want one of those mannequins to alter!
In a Luxembourg city garden I spotted this bird sculpture
this wrought iron bell-pull is outside the town hall in the village of Vianden
Virginia creeper assuming its autumn colours
view towards the older part of Luxembourg city
migrant ducks or geese taking a rest on their travels
at the market
some of Lancelot’s European cousins
these ornamental gourds are known as “Turk’s head” gourds
Luxembourg, On the doorstep, Photography
cultural heritage weekend
the virgin in the tree trunk and other shrines
What a wonderful selection of images. Luxembourg appears to be a beautiful city.
Oh, you do get the travel juices going! Lovely!
This imagery is stunning Carol. I visited Luxembourg and many of these photographs bring back wonderful memories of an amazing holiday spanning six months. I am ready to travel again and see through fresh eyes.
Gosh, this was a lovely tour, adored it, Carol. Thank you.
