201103190243_sunset

201103170171_flooding
flooding on the main road around the island three days before we left and a glimpse of what was to come, and worse, the 28 and 29th March which was widespread flooding, bridges collapsing and mudslides.

Finally, here is the second video I took. I apologise for the poor picture quality but I was more intent on capturing the racket the birds were making. If you were a light sleeper you’d have a hard time sleeping through this lot! Rather than watch the video I suggest you shut your eyes and just listen.

  1. Dawn chorus! Wonderful for meditation!

  2. These pictures are so great. I wish there were more of the crackle lights. I loved the night market – wish I could have been there.
