Even back in 2005 monks in Thailand had all mod cons. I loved this image of the solitary monk with his digital camera and of the solitary child immersed in its own world.

Carol I want to Thank You so much for stopping by for a Blog Visit and Illuminating that Beautiful Painting of “Hope”. I am an Artist and so Art is a huge part of what I Enjoy most and often I see a stunning piece and know nothing about the History of it! I can actually see why in the viewing of that piece it could be interpreted either as Hope or Despair, probably depending upon the mood of the beholder. And your “Solitary” Image is absolutely Stunning! That Architecture is Gorgeous and it was a great Image representing how the Past and the Present have learned to co-exist in Harmony.
