This extraordinary sculpture is in the grounds of Hauser & Wirth’s gallery in Somerset, UK.

The foliage is made from saucepans and kitchen implements. Not only do they have an art gallery – with a truly awful exhibition the day we went there, but an excellent restaurant and a perennial meadow garden, designed by the renowned landscape artist Piet Oudolf

  1. What an unusual sculpture that is made even more inviting in monochrome. It’s certainly a different take on nature’s majesty. I’m a fan of Oudolf’s work. That must have been a memorable experience to see his natural designs against the human-made sculpture. Happy Photo Challenge.

  2. I keep meaning to go there, its only 60 miles, perhaps next year I’ll remember!

    • you should! but perhaps check what the main exhibition is before going in case it’s not to your liking or choose your favourite season. The food was good too.

  3. That looks so cool in B&W! I also love the meadow garden.
