you have to look at this last one really carefully to see that the front half of a sheep sticks out to the right of the big bay window and the tail end from the left

I love that view of the pilings at Porlock . I’ve driven down that steep hill to the little harbour … years ago … Of course now interested in photography I’m always on the look out for places … views .. I would love a chance to photograph this one you taken . Brilliant .
the mice featured in Arlington Court, north Devon. They were made by the artist/illustrator Amanda Graham who also exhibited some of her felted pictures and machine embroidered banners. The mice were to encourage children visiting the house to be more observant and to add a little fun to their visit. There were 6 in all but I only spotted 5! The stone face is on the side door of the church at Arlington. All of these photos were taken during a recent visit to Lynmouth, which is where I found the house with the sheep sticking out at both ends. “A bird in the hand” was in the garden of the same house. It’s down by the seashore.
